The Association of Freelance Editors, Proofreaders and Indexers of Ireland (AFEPI Ireland) was established in Ireland in 1985 to provide information to publishers, authors and independent writers about editorial freelancers working in Ireland and to protect the interests of those freelancers.
Membership is restricted to freelancers with sufficient experience and references.
The directory of Members lists all full members of the Association and gives details about their skills, qualifications, areas of expertise, special interests and any other relevant information. You can simply browse the directory, or use the search box (basic keyword search) in the top right corner of the site if there’s something specific you’re looking for – a skill or language proficiency, for example.
We also have a one-page listing of Associates, members who are new to freelancing or who still have to gain sufficient experience or training to qualify for full membership.
If you are interested in joining AFEPI Ireland, more information and the application form can be found here.
