Academic humanities; architecture and natural history; children’s literature (I review for Children’s Books Ireland, volunteer for Fighting Words and have tutored on ‘Coming of Age Narratives’ in UCD); cookery; ecology and environmental issues; poetry;  tourism (Bord Fáilte-approved national tour guide, French-speaking). I enjoy working with artists and craftspersons, and have a City and Guilds diploma in design and embroidered textiles.
