I have worked for 15 years as a lecturer and researcher in an academic environment. My proofreading and copy-editing experience covers a diverse range of non-fiction subject areas including nursing, medicine and allied health, education and training, psychology, social care, disability, ethics and professional practice, mental health, heart disease, biomedical engineering, research methods, history, poverty and deprivation, community development, ethnic minorities, health promotion, personal development, adult literacy, educational theory and curriculum development (both second-level and third-level).
