Eighteen years’ experience as a writer, editor and proofreader, including four years as assistant editor with Routledge in London. In-depth experience in all areas of the editorial process, from commissioning to proofreading and permissions. Freelance since 2007. Currently Catalogue Editor for the Dublin International Film Festival, and Programme Editor for both Dublin Writers Festival and Kilkenny Arts Festival. Also a published fiction writer and a lecturer in creative writing for the Open University, the University of East Anglia, and the University of the Arts London.

Copywriting, copy-editing (on-screen and hard copy), proofreading, copyright permissions (for images and text)

Rewriting for website of National Concert Hall, Dublin; writing, editing and proofreading programmes for Kilkenny Arts Festival (since 2009), Dublin Writers Festival (since 2013) and Dublin International Film Festival (since 2011). Copy-editing and proofreading for academic titles including Gillian O’Brien & Finola O’Kane (eds), Portraits of the City (Four Courts Press 2012).
