Work undertaken: Copy-editing, proofreading, publishing & project management, writing. Briefing and working with designers and artists. Sourcing and liaising with printers, distributors, booksellers. Uploading metadata to Nielsen database.

In-house experience with Oxford University Press (October 2011–September 2014) and legal publisher Round Hall–Thomson Reuters (February–December 2016, short-term contract).

Experience of a range of text types including fiction, non-fiction, academic, illustrated books, complex books (with indexes, tables etc.), ebooks, audio.

As well as editorial work I have performed “publishing manager” roles which involve overseeing printing, design, uploading of metadata to Nielsen database, etc.

As an author I have been published by the Times Literary Supplement, Irish Times and Dublin Review of Books.
